Years spent living and traveling through different cities, countries, and cultures have shaped the way we approach design. They've taught us what gives a space character, what makes it feel alive, and how thoughtful details can create an immediate sense of comfort and belonging.
Grizzle Designs has completed projects across Des Moines, Portland, and Phoenix. Each location has its own character, and we design with that in mind — creating spaces that feel connected to their surroundings while reflecting the people who use them.
Our Approach
We start by listening. Every client has different goals, different properties, and a different budget — and we tailor every project accordingly.
Our work combines creativity with careful planning. Every decision is made with purpose, from space planning and material selection to lighting, scale, and flow. We think about everything: how the furniture fills the room, whether the dining setup seats the number of people you're expecting, whether there's a light within reach of every bed, and whether the artwork, textures, and finishes work together within the environment.
Nothing is overlooked, because we know it's the details that determine whether a space truly works. We design interiors that are both beautiful and practical, built to be lived in just as much as admired.
Our Team
Grizzle Designs is a brother-and-sister design duo, joined by our in-house photographer and creative collaborator. Together, we bring a level of care and personal investment that's hard to replicate.
Interior design isn't something we clock out of. It fills our free time, shapes our travels, and fuels our conversations. Every project receives direct involvement from our team, ensuring a level of attention and consistency that shows in every finished space.
